January 21st, 2008 at 2:39 pmAs the start of the newest expedition is just around the corner, I'm just curious to see what other schools/teachers are participating online this year, specificially in relation to what other grade levels are represented. If all goes well, I'm hoping to get my 6 graders really involved this year. We're located in West Virginia. How about anyone else? -

February 16th, 2008 at 5:39 pmDear Mille, I am an instructor in the education department at Bemidji State University. I have been sharing adventure learning with my students and I can see how the experience is exposing then to ideas for their future classrooms. I am wondering if we could collaborate around curriculum topics. I think my students would benefit from writing some curriculum around a topic that your team is exploring and they could submit the ideas to you and you could decide to accept them or not depending on the quality.
This collaboration may assist you in the tremendous tasks that you have undertaken and I know it would be a good experience that has real application possibillities for my students.
I am imaging the you have completed the Fennoscandia curriculum and you are thinking about developing the next set of modules. If you are interested in this kind of collaboration just let me know.
Thanks for you time and for all the wonderful opportunities for learning that you are providing students around the world. Sincerely, Maggie Carlson
